Appearance

Clear, young wine with little color.

Aroma

Apple, pear, melon.

Palate

Apple, light lemon citrus, hint of spice.

Finish

Very short, semi-dry, light peach and acidity.

Summary

This wine is a nine grape blend: Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Muller-Thurgau, Semillon, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Sylvaner. With this being such a wide array of grapes (of which all ferment differently) there is no vintage on this wine. The winery doesn't give to much information about this wine so I would infer that each varietal is fermented and aged differently and then blend together at just the right time. The different wines that are blended together could be from different vintages., hence no vintage declaration. The aroma and taste strongly favor Riesling. On the palate Riesling and Muscat combine together to make fruity but semi-dry taste on the tip of the tongue, with the spice of Gewürztraminer at the back. The oak of the Chardonnay is hinted on the mellow and very short finish. Overall this is very light drinking wine with a hint of sweetness that could be enjoyed by all wine drinkers. I highly recommend this wine for the wine drinker that is trying to ease into dry wines. Available at Eastman Party Store for $18.99.

I tried this wine and liked it. I'm not usually a fan of any dry or semi dry wines but I would drink it again. It was fascinating to me that once I read about the aromas and fruity tastes that you mentioned, that I could actually taste them. Thanks for the lesson.
